I was in Northern MN over the Christmas holidays and had the pleasure of stopping into Luckys for a beer. Bartender told me it was the coldest tap beer in town and man was he right!! I ended up back at Luckys for dinner that night and had the pulled pork with their homemade barbeque sauce. It was one of the best sandwiches I've had. I bought some of the homemade rolls to bring back to my hotel for breakfast the next morning and those were awesome as well. I would recommend this place to anyone in the Pequot Lakes Area. Five Stars!!

Stopped in here for lunch. Not that busy and the service was HORRIBLE! An hour for burger and fries, we ended up taking them to go. Then the manager/owner response, when we finally just went up and asked for our check? When he found out how long, "whoa, we've had a lot of to go orders." Yea, whoa is right, prices are high, burgers were burned, service was slow. I don't recommend.

I'll be frank, Lucky's is a pretty sad replacement for the Sibley Station restaurant that was in the same location years ago. The Irish concept might be redeeming if anything on the menu were remotely Irish. Sorry, it takes more than Guinness on tap to be Irish. Those complaints aside, Lucky's does provide edible bar food. We recently stopped and had a taco pizza. It was decent and we enjoyed it. It was the highlight... The weak drinks were very disappointing. Thankfully, prices were as low as the liquor level of the cocktails. Also, the servers spent total of about 30 seconds with us, delivering our bill before we were done. OK, we will leave now...

Stopped in to get breakfast, unfortunately they don't serve breakfast anymore. There were a couple other groups that arrived at the same time we did for breakfast and we all had to find other places to go. Too bad the decision was made starting peak season, I could understand this decision once Labor Day weekend was over. Oh well, maybe they will bring it back for the summer at least.

This place surprised me. I thought it would be the typical small town bar and grill but they go the extra mile with their food. Special sauces with their sweet potato fries, green onions in the smashed potatoes, house made Cole slaw, etc. I had the Cuban sandwich which had some very tasty pulled pork and extra crispy tater tots. My wife got the chicken dinner special: lots of food for only $5.95! And it was good food! Chicken was moist and crispy. Uncommon in many places but not here. Our server was very nice and outgoing. She was very busy but remained pleasant throughout our experience. A side note: We didn't have any pizza, but the table next to us did and it smelled very good!

The owner doesn't understand the difference between a substitution and addition!!! Ive eaten at Lucky's at least five times and tried numerous menu items. The service is okay, which I will expound upon. The food is average at best, and that is being generous. The frozen carrots in the chicken pot pie and shepherds pie totally ruin the dish. They were absolutely disgusting and gave the dish more of a T.V. dinner taste. Im not sure why they don't use fresh carrots. The pizza special seemed like a good idea, until I reached the center where the dough was the texture of the cheese. I opted to ADD mushrooms which were listed as a 1.00 up charge on the menu, which ended up being canned soggy style mushrooms. When I received the bill I noticed I was charged 2.50 for the ADDITION. I asked the waitress and she said the owner said they don't do substitutions on the pizza special. I guess the extra 1.50 was a penalty charge for creating all the extra work for the kitchen, and giving them the opportunity to sell more food???? On another occasion we arrived at 9:50 and were told the kitchen was closed, later I found out that the kitchen closed at 10:00. We were on the road all day and looking forward to a hot meal, but unfortunately they don't consistently honor their hours. I would eat at Lucky's again, but mainly because its one of the only places in town open for dinner, depending on who is working!!!

Best variety of food and drinks around. The food is always delicious and hot. When they are busy, they always seemed to be short handed, so if you aren't in a hurry and want to relax this is the place to be. Best happy hour with Happy Hour price tabs. Sometimes you get a free drink! They also have the absolute best Tater tots ever! Amazing food, great friendly people, always clean and inviting. Lots of TV's to watch all of the sports.

Stopped in for a quick snack and to take a break from Christmas shopping. Service was prompt and very polite. We had an order of onion rings. These rank up there with the best rings ever. The batter is very, very light. The batter adheres to the onions. These are clearly not out of a freezer bag. My only complaint was they could have been drained better...a little greasy in the bottom of the basket...but even that didn't affect the crispiness of the rings. I'll be back.

This is the third and last time we will eat here. The service was extremely slow considering that it wasn't busy and lunch time on a Thursday. We even joked that they had to run to brainerd to get our meals. The meals were very greasy and almost inedible. It seems that it has gotten worse each time we visited.
